New Osaka Attraction Alert: The udon-themed Osaka Udon Museum officially opened on December 5 in Osaka Amerikamura. The interior is designed in an Edo-period festival style,Eight of Japan’s most renowned udon shops have now joined, offering the most authentic Japanese flavors at just 500 yen per bowl.

Covering approximately 135 tsubo (about 446 square meters), the Osaka Udon Museum offers a food street styled after an Edo-period festival, with about 160 seats available for diners. Currently, eight shops have joined, including Sanuki Curry Udon, Ise Udon, Kyoto Udon, Kasuya, Kiryuu Udon, and Naruto Udon. These shops currently only serve small portions at around 500 yen per bowl. After eating, visitors can vote for their favorite type of udon. The museum is open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
