Winter has arrived, and not only are cherry and plum blossoms blooming in succession, but it's also the season for tulips to flower. Starting every January, a vast number of tulips begin to bloom across the Taoyuan Xian Valley park grounds — pink, purple, red, yellow... dozens of colors... With around 30-plus varieties and as many as 600,000 tulips blooming all at once, they form a rainbow-hued sea of flowers. Layer upon layer, these vibrant blooms weave together a rich and magnificent tapestry of color, attracting travelers from all over to visit and experience a uniquely romantic atmosphere.

Taoyuan Xian Valley is located in Changxing Village, Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, nestled within the mountainous border area between Taoyuan City and Hsinchu County. Covering approximately 200 hectares, it preserves the pristine natural landscape of the mountains, including 100 hectares of afforestation, 20,000 ornamental mountain cherry and plum trees, over 2,000 species of herbaceous plants and shrubs. The floral scenery that can be enjoyed here changes year after year. Nearly every variety of tulip found worldwide can be seen here, with various shapes and colors complementing the valley’s terrain to create a constantly shifting, colorful floral carpet. In addition to tulips, more than 3,000 plum trees planted in the valley are also blooming successively leading up to the Lunar New Year. This is then followed by the flowering of over 10,000 double-flowered cherry trees, transforming the valley into a dreamlike fairyland — perfect for a springtime outing.
