But now, when you visit Chishang, this once emerald-green country lane has transformed into a golden sea of canola flowers. The golden floral carpet stretches across the valley, an absolutely stunning sight. However, if you want to witness this breathtaking golden view, timing is crucial. Typically, the canola flowering season lasts until the Lunar New Year period, but since this year’s Spring Festival is about a month later than usual, many farmers have chosen to begin spring plowing recently. Once the fields are tilled and seedlings planted, the canola flower fields will be gone.
