"Love, Don’t Fade" is a moving love story spanning forty years, launched in collaboration with renowned illustrator Sun Yantian to produce an exclusive Taiwanese love-themed promotional release. With Sun Yantian’s uniquely warm artistic touch, this special edition perfectly captures the romantic atmosphere of the two protagonists strolling hand-in-hand through New York, including their talents in painting and music, as well as the city corners they visited. Every detail of their love story is presented in this Valentine’s Day co-branded love declaration. "Love, Don’t Fade" tells the story of George and Ben, a same-sex couple who have been living together for 40 years in an enviable loving relationship. They are finally getting married and receiving blessings from all around, but unexpectedly, George’s conservative church school orders his dismissal due to the public ceremony, making it impossible for them to afford their original apartment. This forces the couple to temporarily separate until they can find a place they can afford. Ben moves in with his nephew, while George stays temporarily on a neighbor’s couch. It is only after separating that they face a series of challenges one after another...

The moving love confession from the protagonists: “After 39 years, I’ve learned that not having you by my side makes it hard for me to sleep.” This sentiment becomes even sweeter on Valentine’s Day. The distributor has launched the timely “Love Doesn’t Fade – Share the Simplest Form of Love” campaign, inviting audiences to profess their love. From the release date, anyone purchasing a ticket for "Love, Don’t Fade" in theaters will receive a limited-edition set of cards designed by illustrator Sun Yantian, declaring with the message “I want us to love, don’t fade” that love makes Valentine’s Day more meaningful.

Sun Yantian, who has been nominated four times for the American Illustration Award and has over a decade of experience in illustration, previously collaborated with Cai Kangyong to publish “Those Boys Taught Me About Love,” which received widespread acclaim. He subsequently published works such as “I Love Someone,” “Interesting Old Taiwanese Illustrations,” and “Interesting Old Taiwanese Illustrations 2.” For this collaboration, he co-designed the exclusive Taiwanese love-themed card set for the film "Love, Don’t Fade," perfectly echoing the moments the protagonists painted in the film, preserving the most romantic image of love that lasts a lifetime in "Love, Don’t Fade."

"Love, Don’t Fade" is released in Taiwan on Valentine’s Day, February 13. Directed by Ira Sachs, who won the Berlin Jury Grand Prize for "The Delta" and the Teddy Award for Best Film at the Berlin Film Festival in 2012 for "Keep the Lights On," Sachs’ latest work, "Love, Don’t Fade," shows greater maturity in style, narrative content, and performances. It has been nominated for four awards at the Independent Spirit Awards in the U.S., including Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor. It was also selected as the Best Romantic Film of the Year by the renowned U.S. film review website Rotten Tomatoes. When the film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, many audience members were moved to tears.
