As spring arrives, this year has been especially lively in Changhua. In Yuanlin Township’s Darao Village, the 1,500-square-meter hollyhock field at South District Park is bursting into full bloom, a breathtaking sight. The vibrant blooms in a myriad of colors are simply enchanting — purple, light red, pink, deep red, white, yellow, and over 20 other hues. The gorgeous hollyhocks, ablaze in brilliant colors, form a dazzling floral carpet across the land. Strolling through the hollyhock fields feels like being immersed in an ocean of blossoms — truly intoxicating.

Yuanlin’s hollyhocks are blooming brilliantly. Though the flower sea spans only around 1,500 square meters, the towering three-meter-tall hollyhocks, with their eye-catching colors, still draw many flower-viewing visitors. Those wishing to admire the blooms can simply walk straight along Darao Road, opposite the supermarket near Rao Ming Elementary School in Yuanlin, then turn right onto Daming Road to reach South District Park. This year, the hollyhock field planted by Yuanlin Township is located right next to the park, making it the largest “hollyhock field” in central Taiwan — spectacular and beautiful.
