When visiting Yilan, soaking in the hot springs of Jiaoxi is almost an essential activity. In addition to the traditional Taiwanese-Japanese style bathhouses, why not try the "Cong Zao. Jiaoxi Little Bathhouse," which just opened earlier this year? It’s designed with a Japanese-style "sento" (public bathhouse) as its blueprint, fusing youthful artistic and cultural creativity. From the lobby to the bathing areas, you’ll find colorful murals painted by various artists everywhere. The ultra-popular hippo-themed bathhouse lets you soak alongside the hippo family, making the experience even more fun!

Cong Zao. Jiaoxi Little Bathhouse has renovated an old guesthouse and infused it with youthful and lively cultural and creative elements. As soon as you step into the lobby, you'll see bath utensils used as decor and a wall painted with humorous bathing step illustrations. Each room features different themed graffiti murals on white brick walls reminiscent of sento atmospheres, offering a fresh experience in every bathing space. Additionally, some facilities in the rooms are accented with hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood decor, filling the space with a subtle woody aroma upon entry.
