Another Korean BBQ spot is here – Eight Flavors BBQ sets up shop in Taiwan

The hype around Korean BBQ chain Honey Pig hasn’t died down yet, and now another well-known Korean BBQ restaurant is gearing up to make its way to Taiwan. The award-winning “Eight Flavors Korean BBQ,” which was crowned with the “2014 Asia’s Must-Eat Restaurant Award” by a Hong Kong travel magazine, is set to open its first flagship store in Taipei’s East District and is expected to debut in July.

When it comes to Korean BBQ, pork belly is undoubtedly the star. At “Eight Flavors Korean BBQ,” not only is the pork belly delicious, but it also offers diners the chance to try eight unique flavors in one go. These include garlic, red wine, pine needles, herbs, curry, soybean paste, chili paste, and ginseng — eight distinctive seasonings that are sure to satisfy any Korean BBQ enthusiast.

The flagship Eight Flavors BBQ store in Taiwan is set to grandly open on August 1st. Phone reservations will be accepted starting July 18th.
