It only takes 30 minutes to reach Beitou now — the Ban-Nan Line adds Dingpu Station

Taipei Metro’s Ban-Nan Line is set to open its final station, “Dingpu Station,” by the end of June this year. As not only the terminus of the Ban-Nan Line but also the starting point of the San-Ying Line, it marks an important milestone in New Taipei City’s “Three Rings and Three Lines” metro development plan. Once open, commuting by foot, bike, or bus transfer will become more convenient. Travelers will be able to reach Taipei Main Station in just 30 minutes — saving at least 30 minutes compared to driving!

The decor of Dingpu Station incorporates elements of the local science park, using plenty of glass to create a high-tech feel while combining modern design with local character. In addition to featuring natural lighting, the bright and energy-saving “Aisle Eye” directly channels sunlight from above into the concourse. The station also integrates LED light walls decorated with Dangkou’s tung blossom motifs, blending modern design with regional culture.
