The CAA stated that restrictions on the use of personal electronic devices by passengers will be relaxed according to different flight phases, with the following guidelines:

◎ From the time the aircraft begins to move until takeoff, and from landing until it leaves the runway, the use of personal mobile communication devices such as mobile phones is permitted with the captain’s approval and according to the instructions of the cabin crew.
◎ During the flight, both on international and domestic routes, the use of personal electronic devices that can be stowed or placed in the seat pocket, or personal mobile communication devices in airplane mode, is allowed.
◎ Personal electronic devices that cannot be securely held or stowed in the seat pocket (such as laptops and peripherals) may be used during the cruise phase of international flights (when flying above 10,000 feet); however, on domestic routes, due to factors such as cruise duration and operational arrangements, their use is not permitted.
◎ If the aircraft is equipped with approved onboard communication devices (such as Wi-Fi systems), the corresponding communication devices may be used when these systems are active.
 
Additionally, passengers should note that regulations on the use of personal 3C devices on flights may vary depending on the airline’s policies, weather conditions, or aircraft type. Several domestic airlines are currently conducting related verifications and updating their manuals. The implementation dates and methods will be announced by the airlines after obtaining approval from the CAA. Passengers who wish to use personal electronic devices are advised to check the relevant information on the airline’s website or at the check-in counter prior to their flight.
