Asia’s First LINE FRIENDS Water Party at an Ocean Park – Cool Off Together

To welcome the arrival of summer, Hong Kong Ocean Park’s Summer Splash will kick off with a bang from July 1 to August 30. Featuring the “Top 10 Coolest Water Attractions” and in collaboration with the wildly popular mobile messaging app LINE, it will launch Asia’s first-ever LINE-themed water party, “LINE Summer Fever,” along with six attractions making their Hong Kong debut: the “Dynamic Aqua Swing,” “Giant Super Water Bucket,” “Crazy Waterslide,” “Wild Bubble Party,” “Explosive Water Balloon Barrage,” and “Colorful Fountain Array.” LINE will also open a limited-time “Summer Splash” exclusive LINE FRIENDS Pop-up Store in the park, offering over 60 types of LINE merchandise available in Hong Kong for the first time, allowing fans to shop for their favorite collectibles.

Numerous LINE FRIENDS characters will make appearances at Ocean Park, dressed in fun and adorable summer outfits with a variety of expressive poses, bringing a series of surprises throughout Dreamy Water City and Harbor Park. The highlight is the all-new, Asia-exclusive LINE-themed water party “LINE Summer Fever” located in Harbor Park, featuring multiple super fun water attractions, including this summer’s premiere “Dynamic Aqua Swing.” Visitors can experience the thrill of zipping through water curtains while reliving childhood joy, fully immersing themselves in a cool and exhilarating escape from the heat. Another highlight is the “Giant Super Water Bucket,” one of the new photo hotspots this year. A huge bucket suspended above gradually fills with water, and once it reaches capacity, it tips and pours down, giving visitors a thrilling, surprise drenching experience. Guests can also stand at designated photo spots to capture the perfect moment as friends get soaked and share the fun.

Besides a host of popular LINE FRIENDS-themed water attractions, the event will also feature a limited-time LINE FRIENDS Pop-up Store and a series of LINE-themed food offerings. Capitalizing on the trend of instant photo sharing, various photo and video hotspots have been set up around the park, enabling visitors to view and instantly share their experiences via the LINE app. LINE and Ocean Park fans can enjoy all Summer Splash activities and over 80 exciting attractions in the park with just one ticket. Additionally, exclusive LINE merchandise and themed food items will be available, sure to delight LINE fans—don’t miss out!
