Japan’s most stunning paddy field art draws attention

This March, Pingtung County Government hosted its first International Colored Rice Art Festival, working with LINE to create a one-hectare painted rice field featuring LINE FRIENDS characters. The lifelike designs were truly impressive. Meanwhile, in Inakadate Village, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, giant paddy field art using multicolored rice is created every year under various themes as part of the Rice Field Art Festival. This year, the festival once again features iconic films—Star Wars and Gone with the Wind—as the themes for its rice field artworks, generating much anticipation.
