The lotus ponds at Erchong Lotus Park and the Artificial Wetland Phase III in Banqiao each cover approximately 0.3 hectares. Every summer, they bloom with lotuses in light red, yellow, light purple, or white. The beautiful and fragrant blossoms also attract dragonflies, water striders, loaches, turtles, frogs, and a variety of amphibians, fish, insects, and wild birds.
