The summer vacation is already halfway over—do you still have any plans? Currently, there are six super-popular and adorable cartoon and illustration exhibitions taking place in Taipei. In addition to cute exhibits like Chibi Maruko-chan, Toy Story, and Miffy, there’s also the “Unserious Academy: New Forces in Illustration Special Exhibition” jointly organized by popular illustrators Maymay, Babi Jiujiu, and Shuangshuang Cat. ●My Melody & Little Twin Stars 40th Anniversary Dream Exhibition
The My Melody & Little Twin Stars Dream Exhibition is being held at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. The exhibition features Little My Melody, inspired by the fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood,” and KikiLala, who lives in a distant starry kingdom. It takes children and adults alike into the innocent and romantic “Mary’s Pasture,” where they can enjoy a leisurely picnic with friends like the little mouse Fernando and the little sheep Piano. Next, KikiLala takes the lead on a sweet adventure, bringing visitors to the “Cloud Carnival.” Whether riding on clouds, unicorns, or stargazing with KikiLala, it feels like stepping into a fairy tale world full of surprises!

●Pixar Summer Movie Mobilization – Play & Create World

The Sanxing Living Mall and The Walt Disney Company Taiwan have joined forces for the first time to launch the “Pixar Summer Movie Mobilization – Play & Create World” event. The exhibition showcases scenes from four major Pixar-themed movies: “Toy Story,” “Monsters University,” “Up,” and Disney’s latest summer release “Inside Out.” On-site, you’ll find characters like Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Sulley, and Mike Wazowski… among others. Visitors can freely enter and take photos with their favorite Pixar characters. The first floor also features Taiwan’s only interactive installation for “Inside Out,” available for all visitors to experience free of charge. Kids and animation fans alike shouldn’t miss “Up.”
