It is expected that the most severe impact from the typhoon will occur from the second half of the 7th to the 8th. Please prepare for the typhoon accordingly. 【Traffic Disruptions】
● Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) -  Train operations after 12:00 on August 7 are as follows
◎ Western Trunk Line (between Keelung and Pingtung), all branch lines (except Pingxi Line), and Alishan Forest Railway operate normally.
◎ Eastern Trunk Line
1. Taipei to Taitung: All services suspended after the departure of Puyuma Express trains No. 426 and No. 228.
2. Taitung to Taipei: All services suspended after the departure of Taroko Express train No. 425.
※ Pingxi Line services suspended after 17:00: Upbound services from train No. 4734 and downbound services from train No. 4735 onward are all suspended.
※ Local trains operate flexibly depending on weather conditions.
※ South-Link Line: Except for Taroko Express trains No. 328 and No. 332 which are suspended due to vehicle scheduling, other services operate normally.
● High-Speed Rail (THSR)
Normal operation throughout August 7; operational status for August 8 to be announced at 12:00 noon.

【Event Changes】
● Eastern Region
◎ The “2015 Hualien Adventure Season - 3D Children’s Day” event has closed its park and suspended operations starting August 7.
◎ The “Red Duck FUN Holiday” event at Liyu Tan, originally scheduled for August 8 with activities such as “Walking the Lake with Dad – Duck Waddle Fun Hike” and parent-child relay races, has been postponed. The new date will be announced separately.
◎ The Yilan Children's Festival is closed for two days on August 7 and 8.
※ The “Dad’s Week” event will be extended and end on August 10.
※ Adjustments to performances by the Children's Festival team at the Yilan Performing Arts Center and Luodong Cultural Factory.
Yilan Performing Arts Center: The originally scheduled international group joint performance (Mexico, Russia R) on 8/7 (Fri) has been moved to 19:30 on August 10. The New Image Creation Troupe’s “Fantasy Starry Sky” originally set for August 8 has been rescheduled to 19:30 on August 9.
Ludong Cultural Workshop: The performance originally scheduled for August 8th at 14:30 by the Turkish team has been canceled. If you are unable to attend due to the rescheduling, you may get a refund at the ticket booth in front of Yilan Performing Arts Center. For inquiries, please call 03-9369115 ext. 120.
 
●Northern Taiwan
◎ The schedule of various events under the “2015 Taipei Riverside Music Festival” has been adjusted.
◎ The August 8th event of the “Xikou Music & Lifestyle Festival” has been postponed to August 23rd.
◎ The “Dajia Children’s Fun Day” has been temporarily closed to the public starting August 6th. The reopening date will be announced later depending on the typhoon situation.
◎ Super Slipper Fest 6 – World is Big Fest has canceled its performances on August 7th and 8th. A brand-new lineup will perform on August 9th and 10th at the original venue.
◎ The Yehliu Night Music event has been postponed to August 15th.
◎ The Children’s Art Festival has been postponed to open on August 10th.
 
●Central Taiwan
◎ The series of events under the “2015 Taichung Blue Ocean Tourism Season,” originally held at the Da’an Coastal Park starting August 8th, have been postponed by one week to August 15th.
◎ For the 2015 Taichung City Music Street series, the events originally scheduled for August 7th by the Dajia District, Wuchi District, and Fengyuan District Offices have been postponed to August 14th, while those in Taiping District and Xinshe District have been moved to August 21st. The timing and venues remain unchanged. The event “2015 Taichung City Houli District Fruit and Vegetable Industry Culture Festival,” originally planned by the Houli District Office to take place at the parking lot in front of Houli Horse Ranch on August 8th and 9th, has been postponed to August 29th and 30th.
◎ The Shueili Water Play Festival, originally scheduled from today through August 8th at Shueili Water Park, has been postponed to August 13th through August 16th.
 
●Southern Taiwan
◎ Alishan National Scenic Area and Aogu Wetland Park have been closed since August 7th. The reopening dates will be announced later depending on road access and the typhoon situation.
◎ The Qigu Seafood Festival and Father’s Day events originally scheduled for August 8th in Tainan will be canceled or rescheduled.

◎ The Butterfly Amusement Park events scheduled for August 8th and 9th at Hongye Park by the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration will be suspended.
