The "Voice of the Sea," a hidden gem for photography lovers, is a roughly 100-meter-long seawall along the coast of Hsinchu City’s Xiangshan District. This straight seawall stretches all the way into the sea. When the sun sets, the surrounding area glows golden, creating a dreamy scene that resembles a path to heaven—earning it the nickname "Path to Heaven." Normally, aside from anglers fishing on the seawall, many photography enthusiasts also visit to capture sunset photos. Now, affected by Typhoon Soudelor, the Voice of the Sea has been battered by fierce winds and massive waves, and the once heavenly path has been reduced to shattered chunks of concrete.
