【Visit an Exhibition】Step into the Special Record Store Exhibition: Discover What Mayday Listens To

How long has it been since you last browsed records properly? To help everyone rediscover the joy of holding physical records, B'In Music has set up a limited-time concept record store called BINSIDE “Please Come Into the Record Store” at Warehouse No. 2 of Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. From now until August 30, visitors can rediscover their passion and love for physical records alongside musicians.

The “Please Come Into the Record Store” exhibition features listening recommendations from 47 music insiders, showcasing 9 creative zones and 9 hot themes. It combines elements of music, art exhibitions, pour-over coffee, and lifestyle furniture to experiment with creating an A Better Life House inspired by music. The project collaborates with HTC, STAYREAL Cafe, Eslite Music, BOSE, and MOT CASA to present a new concept in record stores.

The entire exhibition is designed around the concept that “music may be humanity’s last Noah’s Ark.” The “Please Come Into the Record Store” at Warehouse No. 2 of Songshan Cultural and Creative Park is built entirely from wooden pallets to resemble a musical “Noah’s Ark.” In addition to reconstructing the giant mechanical elephant from Mayday’s concert stage as a spiritual monument called “Step-by-Step Imagine Music,” there is also the opening special exhibition “Herstory: The Creative Tales of Women,” which fully presents the artistic achievements of the recent hit Mandarin album 《Herstory with Mayday》. It showcases the creative process behind this groundbreaking concept album through collaborations with 10 leading female artists in the Mandarin music scene, 10 female artists, and 10 top directors, offering fans a deeper look into the journey behind making a record.
