The Eslite life store at Zhongyou recently underwent its first-ever closure for a major renovation since opening 18 years ago. It officially reopened on August 6. The revamped Eslite life store at Zhongyou has introduced its first in-house coffee brand “blackpages CAFÉ” and established an Eslite Music vinyl specialty store, creating a diverse content space where every visitor can savor the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and enjoy the sounds of vinyl records while immersed in reading.

Eslite Bookstore’s “blackpages CAFÉ” features hand-roasted single-origin beans, with literature as its theme, emphasizing the integration of literature, music, and coffee. This branch, located in the Eslite life store at Zhongyou, combines with Eslite Music to form a unique coffee and vinyl specialty store. The space offers views of the circular book area, aiming to provide customers with a multi-layered experience. To celebrate the launch of the first mid-Taiwan branch of Eslite Bookstore’s “blackpages CAFÉ,” during the trial sales period (August 6–31), hand-poured single-origin coffee is available for a special price of NT$99, and customers spending any amount at blackpages CAFÉ can purchase a branded mug for just NT$199.

This renovation not only introduces “blackpages CAFÉ” in the brand-new format of a specialty coffee and vinyl shop, but also brings in Eslite Spectrum’s cultural and creative platform expo, Eslite Taste, along with several new exclusive counters. A variety of promotions are also available during the trial sales period. Additionally, Eslite Spectrum’s cultural and creative platform expo at Youyuan Store showcases design goods from emerging Taiwanese brands, with Tea Seed House offering travel season discounts during the trial sales.
