Two of Taiwan’s Attractions Ranked Among the World’s Top 500!

More than half of 2015 has passed—still not sure where to go? If you haven’t made up your mind yet, take a look at the 2015 list of the world’s 500 must-visit attractions, as selected by international media outlet Lonely Planet. Topping the list is Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, while Taiwan has two attractions on the list: the National Palace Museum in Taipei at No. 397 and Taipei 101 at No. 488.

This ranking was compiled by Lonely Planet in collaboration with travel experts and writers, who selected 500 top attractions. The list will be published as a book. These 500 attractions are globally renowned, with Cambodia’s Angkor Wat taking the top spot. Ranks 2 to 10 are, in order: Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, Peru’s Machu Picchu, China’s Great Wall, India’s Taj Mahal, the Grand Canyon National Park in the U.S., Italy’s Colosseum, the Iguazu Falls on the border of Brazil and Argentina, Spain’s Alhambra, and Turkey’s Hagia Sophia.
