Tucked away from the bustling Zhonggang Road in Taichung, Wodiz Coffee is located along Xinglin Road. The vintage building exudes a rare tranquility and leisure in the busy city. The owner believes that being able to enjoy a comfortable cup of coffee is a form of happiness, and hopes that through his dedication to coffee, visitors can savor these moments of joy here.

● Hesheng Taiping Caféé story
Formerly the Taiping Hospital, an old hospital in Yilan, it was owned by a family whose lineage includes Yilan’s first officially appointed mayor. This old house has been meticulously maintained by its descendants, with its layout and building materials kept intact. In 2013, a couple who run a homestay took over its operation and reopened the doors of “Taiping Hospital.” Hesheng Taiping Café preserves the original hospital partitions, maintaining the room layout of the old Japanese-style building. It also displays various archives of Mr. Chen Jinbo and regularly hosts photo exhibitions and lectures. It has become a well-known and important “hipster café” in Yilan.
