The globally popular “Slide the City” waterslide event will hit Toucheng, Yilan from September 25 to 27, giving everyone a chance to challenge Taiwan’s most exciting giant slide and enjoy a unique Mid-Autumn holiday.*Due to the overall environment and atmosphere of events being held in Taiwan this year,“Slide The City” has been postponed to the summer of 2016,and full refunds will be available for all registered participants starting today.

“Slide the City” was first launched in Salt Lake City, USA in 2014 and quickly gained worldwide popularity. It features a massive 1000FT-long, 22FT-wide waterslide set up in urban areas, offering participants an exhilarating experience of sliding between city buildings. It has now toured more than 200 times globally, captivating audiences in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and other countries. This Mid-Autumn Festival, “Slide the City” officially comes to Toucheng, Yilan, incorporating Taiwanese elements by setting the slide on the Kailan Bridge, allowing participants to enjoy the thrill of sliding while taking in the beautiful scenery of Toucheng.However, due to space limitations, this edition will only be 800FT long.In addition, the event will feature local Yilan delicacies and a funfair, creating a grand waterslide party to invite everyone to celebrate a different kind of Mid-Autumn Festival.

Due to the overall environment and atmosphere of events being held in Taiwan this year, “Slide The City,” originally scheduled to take place in Toucheng, Yilan from September 25 to 27, has been postponed to the summer of 2016. Full refunds (including the full registration fee, shipping fee, and i-bon handling fee) will be available starting today.
