To welcome the Mid-Autumn holiday, from September 25 to 29, Taiwan Railways (TRA) will operate a total of 200 additional trains across all service levels. Tickets for the Mid-Autumn holiday period will go on sale starting at midnight on Friday, September 11, 2015 (the 11th); Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) will add 103 extra train services, providing a total of 775 services over the five-day holiday period while maintaining both non-reserved seating and early-bird discounts. Passengers planning to take the high-speed rail can start booking tickets from midnight on Saturday, August 29.

● Taiwan Railways (TRA)
From September 25 to 29 (a total of 5 days), TRA will operate 200 additional trains across all service levels. Among them, on the Eastern Line (including the South-Link Line), there will be 77 Tze-Chiang Limited Express services, 40 Chu-Kuang Express services, and 24 Fu-Hsing and Local trains, totaling 141 services. On the Western Line, there will be 33 Tze-Chiang services and 26 Chu-Kuang services, totaling 59 services.
※ Tickets for the Mid-Autumn holiday period will be available for purchase online and via telephone reservation starting at midnight on Friday, September 11, 2015 (Friday), and can be booked up to September 29.
 
● Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR)

From September 25 to 29 (a total of 5 days), THSR will add 103 additional train services (52 southbound and 51 northbound), providing a total of 775 services while maintaining both non-reserved seating and early-bird discounts. In addition, during the peak travel period, in addition to the existing “University Student Discount” available on applicable services, THSR has specially planned 8 additional 50% off “University Student Autumn Holiday Homecoming Discount Trains” during the busy periods of September 25 and September 29. In total, 262 services over the five days will be eligible for the “University Student Discount.”
