Walk suspended between vertical cliffs – Hualien’s “Chin Bu Zhi Zi Skywalk” to begin trial operations in April

The “Chin Bu Zhi Zi Skywalk,” situated on the cliffs of the “Chin Bu Zhi Zi Cliffs” in Hualien’s Fengbin Township, has finally set a tentative opening date for its trial run. According to the Fengbin Township Office, it is expected to begin trial operations around April at the earliest.

The “Chin Bu Zhi Zi Skywalk” is constructed with H-shaped steel and tempered glass, stretching approximately 110 meters in length. Among this, about 20 meters are made entirely of tempered glass, extending along the vertical cliff face and allowing visitors to not only enjoy the thrill of standing on the edge of a cliff but also gaze straight down at the breathtaking seascape beneath their feet — an experience that's off the charts in terms of excitement.

The Fengbin Township Office stated that the Chin Bu Zhi Zi Skywalk was originally scheduled for a paid trial operation during this year’s Lunar New Year holiday. However, due to the incomplete state of surrounding facilities such as parking lots and public restrooms, and in order to avoid being unable to handle potentially large crowds, the opening has been postponed. It is now expected to begin trial operations as early as April.
