Taoyuan Daxi sees a “September Snowfall”! Around the Mid-Autumn Festival each year, the leek flower fields in Longtan and Daxi quietly burst into a snow-white sea of blossoms, drawing many passing cyclists to pause and admire the magical field views. These leek flower fields, with a blooming period of about one month, can be admired from the nearby Yingge bicycle path. Gazing across the snow-like expanse of leek flowers swaying in the wind, they exude a northern charm that is truly enchanting.

As autumn arrives, leeks begin to sprout white flowers, and farmers’ production and sales work also winds down. In specialized leek-growing areas in Ruiyuan and Zhongxin, a sea of white unfolds, with delicate white blossoms dancing in the wind as if celebrating the arrival of fall—like a festive celebration of the joyous harvest season. The leek cultivation area in Daxi Town covers approximately 150 hectares, with about 70 hectares concentrated in the Zhongxin specialized growing zone. As a result, walking along the streets of Zhongzhuang, you can catch the fragrant scent of blooming leeks.
