The ultra-popular Korean Kang Ho-dong BBQ is opening its first store in Taiwan

Now, the famous Korean BBQ restaurant "678 Baekjeong BBQ" operated by Korean TV personality Kang Ho-dong has confirmed its expansion to Taiwan, with its first location in Taichung, expected to open in mid-October.

Kang Ho-dong BBQ is a must-try BBQ spot for many Taiwanese tourists visiting Korea. In addition to having as many as 70 branches in Korea, it also has 12 outlets in mainland China. The first Taiwanese branch is scheduled to open in mid-October on Hanshin Road in Taichung, covering an area of approximately 100 pyeong. Furthermore, all the various sauces, grill plates, and grilling techniques used will be authentically imported from Korea, aiming to provide fans in central and southern Taiwan with the most genuine and delicious Korean BBQ experience, with average prices ranging between 500 and 600 NTD.

Kang Ho-dong 678 Baekjeong BBQ announced on its official fan page that it will begin trial sales before October 25, and phone reservations will open starting October 10. Those who do not make a reservation can also pick up a priority entry number at the store from October 25 onward, allowing them to return at a designated time for priority seating.

Phone reservations (04-2237-8678) will open on October 10. The phone reservation window is from 11:30 to 17:30. Reservations are available starting October 25, with seven time slots per day: 11:30, 13:30, 15:30, 17:30, 19:30, 21:30, and 23:30. Each dining session lasts two hours, and seats will be held for 10 minutes.
→ On-site Priority Entry Waitlist
Starting October 25, priority entry numbers will be distributed on-site daily at 11:00 for the 11:30, 13:30, and 15:30 time slots, and at 17:00 for the 17:30, 19:30, 21:30, and 23:30 time slots. Customers who receive a number can return to the store at the designated time for priority seating.
※ Customers who are unable to secure a phone reservation or on-site number can wait at the store. The restaurant will adjust seating availability during operating hours, and if any reserved customers do not show up, priority will be given to those waiting on-site.
