Ubiquitously loved by travelers worldwide, Universal Studios, besides its locations in Osaka and Singapore, is now set to build its largest new site yet in Beijing. Currently, an official contract has been signed between China and the U.S., and it is expected to officially meet the public in 2019!

This Universal Studios in Beijing will be the sixth globally and the third in Asia. Covering an area of approximately 4 square kilometers—twice the size of Osaka’s Universal Studios and five times that of Singapore’s—it will include five resort hotels, multiple amusement facilities, and a water park. Upon opening, it will become the world’s largest Universal Studios. The Beijing park will incorporate popular areas from both Osaka and Singapore, with current plans revealing the inclusion of Minions, Harry Potter, Transformers: The Ride 3D, and Jurassic Park zones. In addition, Beijing Universal Studios will also integrate Chinese cultural elements to create an innovative theme park experience.
