JR West Japan has unveiled a new sightseeing train, the "Bridal Curtain," decorated in the noble traditional festive colors of red, gold, and black. It features delicate and elegant carvings on the front and sides, giving it a very auspicious and charming appearance. This train officially began service in October on the Kanazawa–Wakura Onsen route, traveling at a slower speed than regular trains to allow passengers more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the windows.

The "Bridal Curtain" runs between Kanazawa and Wakura Onsen. It takes 20 minutes longer than a typical limited express train, with a total round-trip journey time of 80 minutes. The train has a total of 52 seats, allowing passengers to enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way from inside the carriages. The interior also incorporates the red, gold, and black color scheme to match the exterior design, showcasing traditional Japanese festive colors throughout and offering a unique charm.
