Osaka’s winter light-up Christmas trees look just like sparklers!

When you visit Japan in winter, you’re inevitably swept up in the fairytale-like, dreamy atmosphere created by the city’s brilliant lights. Even the bustling Osaka Station has joined the luminous lineup of winter illuminations. At the Space-Time Plaza in OSAKA STATION CITY, the “Twilight Fantasy” event was held, using expansive light installations to present the concept of a symphony between light and water. The Space-Time Plaza was enveloped in radiant brilliance, brimming with a fantastical mood.

The Osaka Station “Twilight Fantasy” winter light-up event ran from November 4 to Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2016, with the lights on daily from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Throughout the illumination period, the square space at Osaka Station was adorned with sparkling lights that formed a flowing curtain of light, evoking the shimmering appearance of water. In addition, illuminated water pillars enhanced the romantic atmosphere of the plaza.
