As 2015 draws to a close, Japan’s Tokyo Disneyland—most loved by Taiwanese tourists—has unveiled its 2016 event schedule ahead of time, rolling out a host of exciting and colorful activities to continue bringing laughter to visitors throughout the year.

◎ “Disney Easter”
◆2016/03/25 – 2016/06/15
As spring returns and all things come back to life, the joyous atmosphere of Easter brings a special event full of cheer. In 2016, Mickey and other Disney characters will join the Easter bunnies in the lush “Easter Secret Garden” to take on fun-filled egg-hunting games, and will appear in the parade donning bunny ears and festive outfits to greet visitors. The park will also hold its popular annual Easter egg hunt, feature decorations inspired by the egg games, and launch brand-new exclusive merchandise to grandly welcome the arrival of spring.

◎ Disney Tanabata Festival
◆2016/06/16 – 2016/07/07
A unique summer event blending traditional Japanese style with Disney’s cheerful colors, the Disney Tanabata Festival will be extended from 14 to 22 days starting in 2016, offering visitors an extraordinary early summer experience. World Bazaar will be adorned with large ribbons, green bamboo, and other Japanese Tanabata decorations, along with a wish-making area where guests can partake in the Japanese custom of writing wishes. Mickey and Minnie will also dress up as the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, appearing along the parade route to bless visitors with their dreams come true.
◎ Disney Japanese Summer Festival

During the special event “Disney Japanese Summer Festival,” as summer arrives under clear blue skies, the area around Cinderella Castle will be decorated with lanterns and photo spots to create a uniquely festive venue. Disney characters will lead energetic dance performances in entertainment shows, and join visitors for joyful dancing under showers of water!

As autumn hues begin to tinge the trees, a brand-new “Disney Halloween” will make its debut at Tokyo Disneyland!Mickey and other Disney characters will team up with mischievous Halloween spirits to create an unimaginably fun and laugh-out-loud Halloween world for every guest visiting the park.

During the most heartwarming and dazzling season of the year, Tokyo Disneyland will present a joyful, vibrant, and all-encompassing Disney Christmas story themed around a “Christmas Picture Book.” Parade floats that seem to leap straight from the pages of a storybook will journey along the parade route, telling tales of Disney characters spending happy Christmases with their beloved family and friends. World Bazaar will shine even more warmly with a 15-meter-tall Christmas tree decoration, while each themed area will feature photo spots and Christmas ornaments, filling the park’s streets and alleys with a magical, festive Christmas atmosphere.
