Flip Flop Hostel, or “家” (Home) of Flip-Flops, is built on this very philosophy, aiming to offer travelers a simple and unrestrained lifestyle attitude. The moment guests arrive here, they can drop their bags, slip off their shoes, and instantly feel the ease and comfort of being at home.

Flip Flop Hostel is situated near the bustling and convenient Taipei Transfer Station (Jing Station) and Taipei Main Station. The property is a renovated version of an old Taiwan Railways employee dormitory. Though it lacks a flashy signboard, from afar you can spot the vibrant murals painted on the exterior walls by local cross-disciplinary artist Andi Yang. The interior is also painted in soft, warm tones, complemented by high ceilings that create an incredibly relaxing and comforting atmosphere. The hostel, transformed from an old building, still retains features from the original dormitory, such as the windows and old wooden floors, which exude nostalgic charm and give guests a strong sense of place. It allows everyone to feel a deep connection to this unique space.
