Amazon Books breaks conventional thinking by moving from online to offline, extending the concept of the Amazon online store “Amazon.com” into the real world. At first glance, the bookstore may not seem much different from a typical one, but upon closer inspection, you’ll find that the books on display are arranged based on customer reviews, pre-order data, sales figures, and popularity rankings from the online store. Each book also has a small card underneath, showing the ratings and reviews given by readers online—allowing customers in-store to understand a book’s reception without going online and helping them choose the best book for them.
