Japan’s Sanrio theme parks, themed around characters like Hello Kitty and My Melody, are must-visit spots for many Kitty enthusiasts traveling to Japan. Since opening on December 7, 1990, this year marks their 25th anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, Sanrio theme parks will hold the “2015 SANRIO THANKS PARTY!” thank-you event on December 4. On that day, all rides and shows will be free, along with special parades such as the “Miracle Gift Parade,” exclusive merchandise, and limited-time anniversary celebrations.
