Christmas spirit is in the air: Taipei Xinyi’s themed light area shines warmly

With Christmas just around the corner, the Xinyi District in Taipei has already embraced a romantic and warm festive mood. Uni-President Group, with love and sharing as the theme, has launched the “Love. Sharing” Christmas series of activities, and has set up themed interactive light areas and bulb decorations full of Christmas atmosphere, including a massive 10-meter-tall Christmas tree, at places like Taipei Hankyu Mitsukoshi Dream Square. From now until January 3, 2016, you can come to Xinyi District to soak up the festive Christmas vibe.

Themed Light Areas:
◎Purple Wish
A 10-meter-tall purple Christmas main tree, Purple Wish, launches a 5-minute spectacular music and light show along with a light display in the Christmas-themed area at every full hour starting at 6 PM daily.

◎ Gate of Happiness
Located at the intersection of Zhongxiao East Road and Keelung Road, walk up the grand staircase toward the second floor of Dream Square. Pass through the four-meter-tall giant Christmas ball, the “Gate of Happiness,” to enter the “Love. Sharing” Christmas event site.

◎ Hall of Shining Forest
Dream Square is decorated with LED icicle lights, snowflake light panels, and LED star lights, creating a romantic ambiance with various colorful lighting changes at night.

◎ Avenue of Beauties
Xinyi District is immersed in a strong Christmas atmosphere, with the roads decorated with large bell-shaped light ornaments, making you feel as if you are strolling down a European street.
◎ Christmas Stocking of Wishes
Inspired by Santa Claus climbing down the chimney to deliver gifts, the former Starbucks curtain wall has been wrapped into a giant Christmas stocking, paired with adorable Santa and reindeer figures — definitely one of the most eye-catching spots during the Christmas season.
◎ Tunnel of Light
The Tunnel of Light is formed by layers of interwoven metal tree vines, stretching from the 2F Dream Square all the way to the 4F platform, while plantings are wrapped in lights to resemble giant Christmas gift boxes.
