New Highlight in Taoyuan Aerotropolis: Taiwan’s First American-Style Outlet Opens

GLORIA OUTLETS Huatai Luxury Outlet Mall officially opened on December 18. In addition to becoming Taiwan’s first American-style open-air outlet plaza, it will also serve as a new landmark for Taoyuan Aerotropolis and the Airport MRT. The first phase is expected to host 102 brands across a 6,000-ping exhibition space, including 24 brands making their debut in a Taiwanese outlet.

GLORIA OUTLETS Huatai Luxury Outlet Mall is located in Qingpu Village, Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, approximately a 45-minute drive from downtown Taipei. It connects directly with Taoyuan High-Speed Rail Station and Airport MRT A18, offering highly convenient access. It is Taiwan’s first internationally tiered open-air leisure shopping village combined with landscaped gardens and a premium outlet experience.

Huatai Luxury Outlet Mall will have a total of four phases. The first phase introduces 102 brands, including Armani, Hugo Boss, Jimmy Choo, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tod’s, Salvatore Ferragamo… among others, with an average discount of 35% off. Additionally, 24 brands are making their first appearance in a Taiwanese outlet. According to plans, the second phase of Huatai Luxury Outlet Mall is expected to open in autumn 2016, with the third and fourth phases opening in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Upon completion, there will be a total of 260 luxury brands, as well as facilities such as a cinema, cafes, and fine dining restaurants. Its opening is set to become a new shopping highlight for Taiwanese visitors.
