Seven Must-See Hello Kitty-Themed Painted Aircraft for Fans

Since 2005, EVA Air has collaborated with Japan's Sanrio to launch the HELLO KITTY series of painted aircraft, retaining EVA Air's green tail fin and the airline’s name on the fuselage. The all-white body was deliberately used as a canvas, painted with creatively designed HELLO KITTY graphics. Not only are the exteriors cute and story-rich, but the HELLO KITTY-themed meals and service items in the cabin have also become incredibly popular with passengers.

This series of collaborations culminated in 2015 with the launch of the seventh and final Hello Kitty Starry Sky aircraft on the Taipei–Houston route. The “Magic Aircraft” features the theme “Hello Kitty with Magic Star.” The Kitty on the fuselage is waving a magic wand, flying off on a joyful, dreamy journey together with Hello Kitty’s family and friends on both sides of the aircraft.
