Teddy Bear Exhibition Debuts in Taipei: President Chiang’s Bear Greets Visitors
The third "Lohas Bear Urban Carnival," themed "Teddy Bears and the City in Harmony," concluded its Taichung leg on the 14th and kicked off a one-month indoor and outdoor exhibition at the Shilin Official Residence in Taipei starting the 16th. This is Taipei’s first-ever free outdoor exhibition featuring a hundred life-sized Lohas Bear installation artworks. The event brings together artists and various companies to showcase uniquely designed Lohas Bears. Among the highlights at the Shilin Official Residence is the specially created President Chiang and Madame Chiang Bear duo, as well as a 2.5-meter-tall Lohas Green Sculpture Bear.

As part of the dual-city exhibition, the "Lohas Bear Urban Carnival" arrives at the Shilin Official Residence in Taipei, where a hundred uniquely designed Lohas Bears will be displayed throughout the park. The most eye-catching attractions include the bears of the late President Chiang Kai-shek and Madame Chiang, tucked away within the residence and complementing its floral displays. A 2.5-meter-tall Lohas Green Sculpture Bear has also been specially crafted using horticultural techniques. Another highlight during the exhibition period is the up-close interaction with a massive 7-meter-tall inflatable Lohas Bear.

During the Lohas Bear exhibition, the organizers have also invited artists from 20 countries around the world to host the "International Artists’ Bear Special Exhibition" inside the venue. To encourage parent-child bonding through teddy bear-making, the organizers have planned the "LOVE Little Bear DIY Workshop" on January 23rd and 31st. Families and friends are welcome to join in the fun of creating teddy bears.
