The renowned Japanese outlet brand "Mitsui Outlet" is expected to officially open in Linkou on January 27, 2016, near the Taoyuan Airport MRT. The mall spans about 20,000 pyeong and is designed with the concept of a foreign resort, aiming to offer shoppers a vacation-like experience. To let the public get a taste of the shopping excitement ahead of time, Mitsui Outlet Park Linkou has been operating in trial mode from the 21st to the 25th, attracting many fans who have already come to check it out. However, as it has not yet officially opened, only about 40% of the brand stores are currently open, while around 80% of the restaurants are operational.

To make it more convenient for consumers to visit, Mitsui Outlet Park Linkou has also planned four free shuttle bus routes, including those that started running on the 21st"Linkou City Route and Guishan Chang Gung Route", which operate on both weekdays and holidays. Shuttle service runs from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, with buses running every ten minutes during peak hours on holidays (4:00 PM to 8:00 PM). The other two routes"Sanchong Luzhou Route and Zhonghe Banqiao Route"will operate on holidays and on January 27 for the opening, starting from January 23 until March 31. The "Sanchong Luzhou Route" can be accessed at Taipei Bridge MRT Station and Sanchong Elementary School MRT Station, while the "Zhonghe Banqiao Route" can be accessed at Nanxiangjie or Xinpuzhan MRT Stations. Adjustments to routes and schedules will be made based on operational conditions at the end of March.
