The Yangmingshan Flower Festival Kicks Off with Camellias and Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom

From around the Spring Festival holiday through March, it’s the perfect season for nature’s vibrant revival. In addition to the annual Camellia Festival, which debuted on the 22nd, delicate and beautiful mountain cherry blossoms have also begun to bloom one after another, attracting many visitors to admire the flowers and take photos.

Visiting Yangmingshan to admire the flowers has always been a popular choice in early spring. In addition to enjoying the holiday with flower viewing and outdoor activities, visitors can also drive to relax in hot springs or explore the North Coast, making for a fulfilling trip. This year’s flower festival events first launched at the Taipei City Government Public Works Bureau’s Flower Trial Center, featuring tens of thousands of camellias and displays of over 70 popular camellia potted plants.
