Is a skywalk or a spiraling roller coaster ride more thrilling?

Whenever a brand-new skywalk attraction is launched in Taiwan, it always sparks quite a bit of discussion. Aside from offering views from high altitudes that are different from what people are used to, the thrill of being up high might also add a touch of the hard-to-come-by feeling to the beautiful scenery before your eyes. Now, a uniquely designed skywalk called Dolni Morava Sky Walk has appeared in the Czech Republic. Situated next to the cliffs of the Králický Sněžník mountain at an altitude of 3,600 meters, its spiraling and irregular ascent resembles walking up a roller coaster track—quite the adrenaline rush.

This roller-coaster-like skywalk was designed by Fránek Architects. Unlike most skywalks that typically use steel and glass, the Dolni Morava Sky Walk is built with wood and steel, blending naturally into the landscape. With what appears to be a gentle path, visitors can slowly walk upwards. Just when they think reaching the top will be easy, they suddenly realize just how daunting the Dolni Morava Sky Walk really is.
