The much-discussed High Heel Church in Budai, Chiayi, is expected to open part of its grounds to visitors on February 6, with a large influx of tourists anticipated. Relevant authorities have also announced surrounding traffic diversion routes and Chinese New Year travel itineraries. Visitors planning to go are advised to pay close attention.

During the Chinese New Year, roadside free parking will be available on the access roads leading to Budai Commercial Port (maximum walking distance approximately 900 meters, with sea views along the way). With the coordination of relevant authorities, there are over 1,000 prepared parking spaces. Visitors intending to admire the High Heel Church are encouraged to park their vehicles here and walk to the site, and are urged not to park illegally.

Additionally, the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Management Office has assisted in setting up temporary signage to guide visitors. It is recommended that after entering Budai town and crossing the Buxin Bridge, drivers follow the signs to turn right onto the alternative road “Shun’an Road,” taking the outer ring road to reach the temporary port parking area. Along the way, you can also visit the Budai Yacht Harbor, which features public restrooms available for use, helping to avoid long queues at the restrooms near the High Heel Church.

The glass High Heel Church is expected to open on the morning of the 6th, with a limit of 1,000 people per time slot to prevent overcrowding.Visitors arriving by car can enter via Fuxing Bridge and follow guides to Shun’an Road. If the visitor count exceeds 1,000, signs will be displayed at Fuxing Bridge, and entry will be allowed every 5 minutes depending on crowd levels.
