Beyond these bustling sites, there’s also a new must-visit attraction in Zhongpu Township, Chiayi County—a perfect spot to briefly escape the crowds and enjoy a relaxing holiday with your family.

Located in Zhongpu Township, Chiayi County, "Green Yield Ranch" not only offers a great place for families to enjoy outdoor activities and get up close with animals like dairy cows and sheep, but has recently also designed a butterfly observation house inspired by bird-watching shelters. Unlike conventional butterfly net houses on farms, Green Yield Ranch believes that butterfly viewing should be a non-intrusive experience, which led to the creation of this one-of-a-kind structure.

The walls of the butterfly observation house are made up of circular pipes of varying sizes, creating different light effects throughout the day. At the center of the wall is a large cross-shaped opening. During winter holidays, Green Yield Ranch turns on colorful lights in the evening, transforming the butterfly house into a magical light-filled chapel. The stunning view is unforgettable. In line with sunset timings, the Winter Light event is scheduled to run until the end of February. Additionally, in preparation for the upcoming spring butterfly season, the ranch has planted numerous nectar plants around the butterfly house.
