As spring arrives and flowers bloom, the romantic Calla Lily Season at Zhuzihu is also expected to launch on March 18th, running for a month until April 17th. The 2016 Calla Lily Season at Zhuzihu is themed around stories from "Aesop's Fables," creating fun and engaging floral landscapes that allow visitors to experience the beauty of blooming calla lilies.

The 2016 Calla Lily Season at Zhuzihu, “Aesop’s Lily Tales II,” runs from March 18th to April 17th, while the calla lily viewing period is expected to last until the end of May. During “Aesop’s Lily Tales II,” various farms weave classic fables such as "The Tortoise and the Hare" and "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" into playful floral landscapes. On weekends during the Calla Lily Season, two free “Zhuzihu Eco-Cultural Guided Tours” are scheduled daily— one at 10:30 AM and another at 2:00 PM. Led by guides, visitors will gather at the Zhuzihu Entrance Parking Lot at the designated times and explore sites including the Penglai Rice Original Strain Story Museum, the Gao Family Ancestral Hall, the Shuiche Liao Trail, the Cedar Plantation, and Dinghu, gaining deeper insight into the surrounding cultural and ecological environment.

Regarding transportation, during the Calla Lily Season (February 27th to April 17th), on holidays (including weekends), Yangde Boulevard implements holiday traffic controls. The area around Zhuzihu, from Huti Bridge westward along Calla Lily Boulevard, enforces one-way clockwise traffic guidance measures, with the one-way control of Calla Lily Boulevard extending up to the fork leading to Zhongzheng Mountain. Meanwhile, the section from Huti Bridge to Donghu allows two-way traffic, while the Dinghu section permits only one-way traffic without U-turns, directing vehicles to exit via the newly built flagstone road toward Yangjin Highway. Traffic control hours in the Zhuzihu area are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends and holidays, with adjustments made flexibly based on actual traffic volume.

1. Take Leisure Bus 128 or Bus Xia 8 from Shibaixi MRT Station.
2. Take Leisure Bus 129 or Bus Xia 9 (Taiwan Good To Go – Beitou to Zhuzihu Line) from Beitou MRT Station to the Zhuzihu area, or take Bus 230 to the Yangmingshan Bus Terminal and then transfer to Bus 108, 128, 129, Xia 8, Xia 9, 124, 131, or 131 Area.
3. Take Bus 260 (including Area and Flower Clock Lines) from Taipei Main Station to the Yangmingshan Bus Terminal and then transfer to Bus 108, 128, 129, Xia 8, Xia 9, 124, 131, or 131 Area.
4. Take Bus 260 (including Area and Flower Clock Lines) or Red 5 from Jiantan MRT Station to the Yangmingshan Bus Terminal, or take Leisure Buses 111 or Flower Season Special Bus 127 to the Yangmingshan Second Parking Lot, then transfer to Bus 128, 129, Xia 8, Xia 9, 124, 131, or 131 Area.
5. Take Bus 681 from Jiannan Road MRT Station to the Yangmingshan Second Parking Lot, then transfer to Bus 128, 129, Xia 8, Xia 9, 124, 131, or 131 Area.
6. Take Leisure Bus 109 from Wanfang Community MRT Station to the Yangmingshan Second Parking Lot, then transfer to Bus 128, 129, Xia 8, Xia 9, 124, 131, or 131 Area.
7. Take the Royal Bus “Taipei–Jinshan” Line from in front of the Gongbao Building on Park Road directly to the Zhuzihu Entrance.
.Note: Buses 128 and 129 only extend their routes to Zhuzihu during the Calla Lily Season.
