Japan’s Tokyu Corporation commercial facility “Tokyu Plaza Ginza” is set to open on March 31, located on the former site of “Mosaic Ginza Hankyu,” which closed in 2012. Spanning from the basement level 2 to the 11th floor above ground, it will become the largest “airport-type duty-free shop” in the Tokyo metropolitan area upon opening. The mall houses a total of 125 dining and fashion brands, with levels 8 and 9 featuring an “airport-type duty-free shop,” “Rakuten Duty Free Ginza.” In addition, the mall has a tax exemption counter to handle duty-free procedures for out-of-town visitors.

Yokohama MARINE&WALK YOKOHAMA officially opened on March 4, connected to the Red Brick Warehouse and designed to continue the characteristics of the surrounding area. It is expected to have 24 stores, all of which are either first-time entries to the Kanto region or feature entirely new types of specialty shops. The design of the MARINE&WALK YOKOHAMA mall emphasizes the connection between the harbor and green spaces, and there is also a nearby walking path, making it a great place for a stroll even if you’re not shopping.
