Krispy Kreme collaborates with DreamWorks to launch Kung Fu Panda donuts

DreamWorks’ annual blockbuster [Kung Fu Panda], with its highly anticipated third installment soon to hit theaters, is making waves. Taiwan’s Krispy Kreme is honored to collaborate with the franchise and has specially created limited-edition donuts inspired by Kung Fu Panda. These donuts were first unveiled exclusively at the movie’s premiere, and now the adorable Panda Po-shaped treats will be available nationwide starting March 15.

After receiving the news of the Kung Fu Panda 3 collaboration, Krispy Kreme’s product development team spent over a season perfecting the designs, product features, and flavors. The limited-edition Kung Fu Panda 3 donuts feature hand-painted details due to their unique shapes, showcasing thoughtful craftsmanship in every piece.

Panda Po from the movie took the longest to develop among the team’s creations. Due to the difficulty in capturing facial expressions and the cooling time constraints of chocolate, the final Po donut design is the result of countless attempts.
