"Where's Wally?" is hailed as the pioneering work of "treasure hunt picture books." Since its publication in 1987, it has become a global sensation, sparking a worldwide "Where's Wally?" craze. To date, it has sold rights in 38 countries and been translated into over 30 language versions. The Taipei leg of the "Finding Happiness – Where’s Wally? Special Exhibition" will be grandly displayed from June 23 to September 4 at Huashan 1914 Creative Park’s East 3 Plum Wine Factory.

Following successful exhibitions in Hong Kong and South Korea, the Taipei leg of "Finding Happiness – Where’s Wally? Special Exhibition" specially incorporates Taiwanese cultural elements. Time-traveling adventurer Wally visits famous landmarks around Taiwan, discovering local characteristics. Visitors to the exhibition might find Taiwan-flavored Wally at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, National Father Memorial Hall, or even at Taiwanese night markets.

The most eye-catching attraction of the exhibition, the "Giant Magical Book of Wally," features 36 life-sized real and fake Waldos jumping out from a giant magical picture book. It presents the highest difficulty challenge ever in the entire "Where’s Wally?" series — transforming from 2D to 3D to create a giant "Wally Kingdom," where you can search for the real Wally.

The "Classic Picture Book Scenes Brought to Life" magnifies scenes from the books, allowing visitors to walk through and search for Wally while taking a journey through time. From the ancient Egyptian pyramids of historical adventure to the epic showdown between dwarves and spear-wielding warriors in a fantasy quest, to the wild west adventures of a movie dream factory — these scenes not only enlarge the most thrilling journeys and the most fantastical imagined worlds from the books, but also amplify the fun of the search.

In addition, the exhibition includes a collaborative picture book area at the end, where you can follow in the footsteps of author Martin Handford, draw your own unique version of Wally, and collectively create a Taipei edition of "Where’s Wally?"
