Taipei can also enjoy wisteria blooms！ The wisteria at Taipei Flower Village has quietly begun to blossom—get ready to welcome the warm arrival of spring！

Situated along Yanping North Road in Shilin, Taipei, Taipei Flower Village was originally a dusty sand and gravel site. In 2003, "Village Chief" A-Ding, who was originally in the construction business, wanted to help flower farmers create a better environment and offer everyone a more wonderful natural experience. After careful planning, the former gravel pit was transformed through planting flowers, trees, and with heartfelt irrigation and devoted management. Now, the site features facilities such as an orchid shop, garden plant market, materials pavilion, café, and restaurant. It has become a Taipei Flower Village brimming with floral fragrance and dappled greenery.

Nowadays, the lush green lawns, hundreds of tall talipot palms, sway in the gentle breeze of the Keelung River. Under the azure sky, they form a childhood vision of the city alongside the continuous green mountains across the river. It’s currently the peak blooming period for the wisteria in the park. With the bloom lasting only about a month, Taipei Flower Village has also launched a Wisteria Season event, inviting everyone to seize the opportunity to come and admire the blossoms, and experience the beautiful spring scenery of Taipei.
