Garfield makes a playful cameo in Taipei to warm up for a running event

The alternative yellow-themed party “RUN！RUN！GARFIELD,” set to take place at the Greater Taipei Metropolitan Park, will be led by the original adorable pet star “Garfield,” who will join runners across Taiwan to kick off the summer in high energy. Usually known for his laid-back persona, Garfield has made a special trip to Taiwan to retrieve his lost pizza—because he lives for food—and is taking the opportunity to visit famous attractions around the country during his visit.

This old military dependents’ village building, adorned with modern graffiti, is Si Si Nan Village near Taipei 101. It blends a simple, nostalgic vibe with playful and endearing humanistic charm.
