After nearly 14 years, the funniest Greek family is back. The official sequel to the box office comedy romance legend "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," titled "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2," is set to hit theaters on May 20th with non-stop laughs. This installment reunites the original cast once again. Nia Vardalos, who also serves as the screenwriter, spent three years crafting the script and once more “sells out her family,” bringing back her hilarious parents for a “three generations under one roof” family reunion that also sparks new creative inspiration.

"My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" follows a story where, many years ago, Toula and Ian navigated a cross-cultural romance between Greece and America, leading to plenty of laughs and culminating in a grand Greek wedding. Years later, the couple finds their relationship growing stale, with conversations limited to their daughter, and they attempt to rekindle their love.

They also discover that Toula’s parents’ 50-year-old wedding contract was never officially finalized. Facing various challenges, Toula and Ian, with the help of their hilariously over-the-top Greek family, decide to throw an even bigger and more extravagant Greek wedding for their parents.
