McDonald’s in the U.S. sells out of its new “Garlic Fries” shortly after launch

McDonald’s, the leading fast-food chain in the U.S., test-launched “Garlic Fries” at four locations in California in May. Unexpectedly, the new product became an instant hit, selling out within less than a week.
