The Yilan Children's Folk Games Festival opens presale tickets, save 50 NT now

The 2016 Yilan International Children's Folklore and Folkgame Festival will be held at the Dongshan River Water Park from July 2 to August 14. This year’s theme is “Childlike Innocence,” featuring activities centered around “games,” “performances,” and “exhibitions.” Visitors can expect an authentic experience of joy and interaction. Pre-sale tickets go on sale on June 1 and are available at all major convenience store chains in Taiwan—7-Eleven, FamilyMart, Hi-Life, and OK Mart—as well as through the official online ticketing system of the festival.

This year’s festival invites 19 performance troupes from 16 countries including Russia, Japan, and Slovakia, as well as outstanding teams from Taiwan. The highly anticipated water play area is designed with a cute animal theme—fun in appearance yet still full of excitement.

From now until July 1, the public can purchase presale tickets at all four major convenience store chains and via the festival’s official online ticketing system. Holiday tickets are priced at 300 NT, and regular day tickets at 200 NT, both 50 NT cheaper than during the event period. Holders of E.SUN Bank credit cards can enjoy further discounts when purchasing on-site during the event period: holiday tickets for 250 NT and regular day tickets for 150 NT. The park is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, one hour earlier than in previous years.
