Dinner with your furry friend: Taiwan’s first hotel chef-grade “pet restaurant”

Hate leaving your furry friend behind because of those pleading eyes? Then bring them along for a meal together. Some hotel operators, seeing the business opportunity from pet owners, have launched the “ARF Pet Menu,” enabling guests to enjoy meals with their pets, making it the first international hotel in Taiwan to allow pet dogs in its restaurant.

As more people adopt pets, amusement parks and hotels have also rolled out pet-friendly programs in recent years. Aloft Taipei Beitou has put its brand initiative “ARF Dogs Caring Program” into practice by creating Taiwan’s first international-grade restaurant that welcomes pets—JuJuLe. It allows guests to bring along small dogs under 15 kilograms to share a delightful dining experience.

JuJuLe offers delicious buffet breakfasts and à la carte dishes. The chefs, focusing on the nutritional needs of dogs, use human-grade ingredients without adding any spices or artificial seasonings. They have specially created three made-to-order pet menu items: “Unseasoned Beef Burger with Vegetables and Dry Kibble,” “Unseasoned Chicken Breast with Vegetables and Dry Kibble,” and “Unseasoned Salmon with Vegetables and Dry Kibble.” Each dish is priced at NT$280 plus a 10% service charge.
